Opened in 1909, the Queensboro Bridge is a large steel cantilevered-truss bridge spanning the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan and Queens, directly over Roosevelt Island (formerly known as Blackwell's Island). Carrying cars, buses, and pedestrians with two layers of road, the bridge is one of the busiest in the City. Take a peek at the bridge from unique aerial angles in this short video from YouTube.
