Vintage Photographs of Ponds and Lakes on Staten Island

Staten Island is one of our most beautiful boroughs. With wide open and undeveloped lands, the forgotten borough has always been a place where you can find one with Mother Nature.

In this collection of vintage photographs put together by SI Live, check out many of Staten Island's lakes and ponds as they appeared decades ago, some even dating back to the early 1920s.
