For 1957, the New York Auto Show’s new home had officially moved to the Coliseum at Columbus Circle.

The New York/International Auto Show saw the introduction of numerous foreign makes into the U.S., such as Toyota, Datsun (now Nissan) and this, the Daihatsu Trimobile.

The New York Auto Show became the International Auto Show, as it promoted foreign makes and models. However, no matter the car, models (of the female variety) continued to draw a crowd.

Let’s admit it; photos of car interiors can sometimes be boring. Apparently this photographer at the International Motor Show opted to change things up a bit.

The finishing touches being applied to the 42nd National Automobile Show at the New York Coliseum.
