This great vintage photograph from around 1923 shows Times Square at night, illuminated by all of the lights and advertisements of the day. The view is from 45th and Broadway, looking North. On the left you see the old Astor Theater, which was located on 1537 Broadway and demolished in 1982 to make way for the Marriott Marquis Hotel which stands there now.
