Actor and producer Steve Buscemi wasn't always on the silver screen. Born here in Brooklyn in 1957, the Fargo, Reservoir Dogs, and Boardwalk Empire star used to work in the New York City Fire Department, as seen in this vintage photograph from 1981. He used those old skills to volunteer with the department in the days following 9/11 as well.
