This incredible vintage photograph from 1905 shows a busy midday in Manhattan's Herald Square, looking north from just south of 34th Street and 6th Avenue. You can see the square's namesake building in the center of the image, the long-demolished 6th Avenue El, and even the original New York Times building in the background.
