[VIDEO] Take a Peek at the MTA's New "Enhanced Station Initiative" Design for NYC Subway Stations

The MTA's Enhanced Station Initiative (ESI) is a project to renovate entire subway stations across all boroughs by replacing and modernizing subway entrances, maps, ticket machines, turnstyles, platforms and other station elements. The very first of these ESI remodels has been completed in Brooklyn at the 53rd St. station on the R Line in Sunset Park. Take a sneak peek inside with this video from the MTA.

The first of thirty-three ESI station renovations opened on September 8, 2017 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
