[VIDEO] Hanami: Cherry-Blossom Viewing at Brooklyn Botanic Garden This Month

It's nearly time for hanami (the art of flower viewing) at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Prospect Park! Several of the trees are already in peak bloom, with dozens just around the corner! Learn more about the annual event in this short video from our friends at NYCGO.

Celebrate spring with cherry blossoms at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Lush pink blooms take over the grounds in April. During Hanami, or cherry-blossom viewing, enjoy picturesque pinks from over 200 trees. The festival honors America’s relationship with Japan. Note: cherry blossoms don’t give off a scent, nor do they grow cherries. But they sure do look great.
