The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has an entire section dedicated to blooming Japanese Cherry trees called the Cherry Walk, and they have just started their first bloom for the Spring. It is the most highly anticipated event of the year at the Gardens, so the BBG has even setup a special webpage where you can track the blooming progress on their CherryWatch Blossom Status Map.

We're not yet in full bloom and there are plenty of bare trees, but some of the Japanese Cherry Trees have started blooming! Time to plan your visit in the coming weeks!
