Located deep in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood, Somethingreek serves up traditional rustic Greek cuisine that’s renowned for their Friday special, pastitsio. Often compared to a lasagna, pastitsio is a towering hunk of layered seasoned pasta, rich meat, and cheesy bechamel. Chef and owner Anastasios Mitilineos uses his mother’s recipe, that he’s tweaked to ensure each slice of pastitsio holds its massive size.
