Two Juvenille Red-Tailed Hawks Cool Off in an UES Fountain

Birds of prey aren’t usually known for their playful side, so when a Central Park Conservancy employee spotted these 2 hawks splashing about in a community fountain, she had to snap some pics.

Kids will be kids! Vi Ong, Central Park Conservancy’s Section 3 Supervisor, spotted these two juvenile red-tailed hawks playing and cooling off in the Sophie Loeb Fountain inside the James Michael Levin Playground early this morning.
