Time Lapse Video Shows Department of Transportation Installing Rainbow Crosswalk for NYC Pride

Last week, we shared a photo of the new rainbow crosswalk that was installed outside of Stonewall Inn, just in time for the NYC Pride March. In this short time lapse video from the New York City Department of Transportation, see how the crosswalk was painted amongst dozens of interested onlookers.

On June 24, 2017, NYC DOT painters converted the crosswalk at Christopher and 7th Street in Manhattan into a temporary rainbow crosswalk for the NYC Pride Parade.
