This Photographer's Series Pays Respect to the Unnoticed Doormen of New York City

Polish photographer Sam Golanski has an interesting photographic portrait series in which he captures New York City doormen on their posts. Often overlooked by locals and tourists alike, many buildings in the City could not operate without doormen, so Golanski set out to give doormen the appreciation they deserve. Check out the accompanying article for more on the project from the photographer himself.
