With more than a million and a half commuters, Manhattan sees some of the highest turnaround in population in the nation, nearly doubling its population on a daily basis. This fascinating data visualization from redditor citrusvanilla shows the ebb and flow of this population over time, all on a three-dimensional map of the City. As expected, Midtown and Lower Manhattan has the most turnaround, but there are surprising spots all throughout the island. Check it out!
