23-year-old Washington Heights resident Kevin Shoemaker is a classically trained pianist and composer who often busks in public for some extra cash and fun. Though when Shoemaker busks, he needs to bring his 500-pound piano with him.
“It’s very heavy, […] I have a piano dolly, it’s like a furniture dolly but it’s made for a piano. It sits underneath it and helps it move.
