Created in the 1920s, this amazing vintage film tells the history New York City, showing buildings, streets, neighborhoods, and attractions all throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. As a silent film, there is a large chunk of written description first, then dozens of shots showing life in the City. The film was found and uploaded to YouTube by Dutch historian, photographer, and videographer Michael Rogge. Well worth the 6-minute watch, check it out!
