The New Yorker Profiles Two High-Rise Window Washers in Manhattan

The New Yorker just published this great profile mini-documentary featuring two window washers working on some of the tallest skyscrapers in Manhattan.

Thirty years ago, John McDermott and John Wren were young daredevils in need of union benefits, so they signed up for one of New York’s most dangerous professions: high-rise-window washing.
