The New York City Mayor's Office Releases IDNYC Promo Video

ID NYC is a new type of official identification that is available to all New York City residents, regardless of immigration status. It will help countless undocumented New York City residents open bank accounts, gain access to their children's schools, check out books from libraries, get discounts on local events and more. It also helps the residents who need an official ID but do not drive, and do not have a New York Identification Card. To encourage people to sign up for the card, the City is offering free admission for one year to City museums as well as other benefits.
