Before yesterday's Mets vs Dodgers playoff game numero uno, Mayor Bill de Blasio challenged L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti to a friendly bet on the the winner.
The losing mayor has to wear a Mike Piazza jersey from his time with the opposing team, since Piazza played for both the Mets and the Dodgers. In addition, the losing mayor has to go on Jimmy Kimmel Live and read mean tweets about himself.
In you didn't see the game, our Mets beat the Dodgers 3-1 in the first game of the series.
