The Harlem Swing Dance Society is Helping to Keep "The Lindy Hop" Alive

The Lindy Hop is an upbeat swing dance with origins dating back to New York City's jazz-age and its epicenter in Harlem. A recent story published by our friends at NY City Lens shows how the Harlem Swing Dance Society is helping to keep the dance alive in modern times.

The dance was born in Harlem during the Great Depression, and that's where some residents are keeping it going.

Check out the accompanying article for more on the dance group.
