Take a Tour Through An Empty Metropolitan Museum of Art

Anybody who has been to the Metropolitan Museum of Art knows that it is always packed with tourists and locals alike. Take a look back at any photos you may have snapped during your visit to The Met and you will see a stranger in nearly every shot.

Filmmaker Tim Kellner was recently invited to The Met before opening hour and was able to capture some amazing footage of a completely empty museum — other than guards of course!

I was invited to go walk around the Met Museum in NYC in the morning before it opens. It was a peaceful morning walking through the beautiful exhibits. I shot and edited this short film all in one day with my rx100.

The music featured in the film is EvanS — "Too Much".
