Sunday, September 11th, 2016: Never Forget.

Today is the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks in the United States. This overview was captured above Ground Zero in downtown Manhattan on September 23, 2001. In the face of such darkness and destruction, I hope we can use this memory as an opportunity to recognize how essential it is to foster an appreciation and love for our fellow man. /// 📷: NOAA

Today marks 15 years since the devastating 9/11 attacks on our City, and other cities around the Nation. We will be taking the day off, and hope you do as well, to reflect upon how that horrific event has forever changed the lives of New Yorkers, and the subsequent actions and reactions taken by governments and terrorist organizations have forever changed the world.

Our hearts go out to the families of loved ones lost 15 years ago, and in the years since then.

Never forget.
