Maybe I am not as hip as I used to be, but I've never seen the appeal towards paying hundreds of dollars for shoes that I'm not ever going to wear. Apparently I am in the minority though as Sneaker Con is a real thing that exists for ~~shoe~~ wearable-art enthusiasts.
