Scary Geo-Temporal Map of New York City Car Crashes Occurring in the Last 2 Years

Data crunching and visualization website Mantas Code recently plotted out a geo-temporal map of all automobile collisions in the City ove the past two years, and turned it into a beautiful, yet scary, video that shows the incident hotspots all around the City.

A geo-temporal map created from NYPD car crash data. Date range used: 2013-11 through 2015-11.

The map was created using data from the vast NYC Open Data set.
