Samuel Dalembert Of The New York Knicks Gives A New Car To A Family In Need On Christmas Morning

Brace yourself: For once this year, we actually have a positive Knicks story to tell you. This Christmas morning, Knicks Center Samuel Dalembert, along with the Garden of Dreams Foundation and Kia Motors, surprised a family with a brand new Kia Soul. According to the press release

The Curtis family has been fighting an uphill battle since the passing of their father, Curtis Wagner, in 2006. Maria has worked multiple jobs to pay the bills, but last spring she was involved in a terrible automobile accident which left the family without transportation. She and her boys were in desperate need of a safe car that can take her to job interviews and transport her children to music classes. Samuel Dalembert and the Garden of Dreams provided that today. The Curtis Family is part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation through partner organization the Police Athletic League of New York City.
