Presidential Hopeful Bernie Sanders Reflects on Growing Up in Brooklyn

In case you have been in a coma for the past 6 months, Vermont's Senior Senator Bernie Sanders is running for President of the United States.

For a recent interview with CBS, Sanders went back to his old neighborhood in Flatbush, Brooklyn to talk about growing up here.

"So, most of the kids lived in the apartment houses. I grew up in that one," Sanders pointed out. "Good friends across the street. It was my mothers dream to get out of the apartment and get a home of her own, but she died young and she never achieved that dream."
