On Tuesday, President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met to discuss nuclear disarmament. For months, a meeting between the two seemed far more uncertain, and a compromise seemed increasingly unattainable. Instead, the specter of potential catastrophe loomed. For the sake of example, here's the degree of damage a 10-kiloton nuclear bomb would wreak on Manhattan if the explosive was detonated in Times Square.
