[WATCH] Meet Joe DiStefano, the Culinary King of Queens

Food writer Joe DiStefano runs a local blog and food tour site called Chopsticks + Marrow that mostly operates out of Queens, New York. In this video from Great Big Story, meet Joe, and see some of his favorite spots to grab a bite in the borough.

Joe DiStefano from Queens is a regular guy, but his knowledge of the borough’s food is anything but. He knows the coolest spot for Thai boat noodles and the best florist shop serving breakfast (yep)—not to mention where you can get the tastiest Tibetan beef momos. (Spoiler: it’s between a mini mart and a cellphone shop.) Joe’s been eating his way through Queens since the late ’90s, so why not let him show you around?

Check Out Lime's New Dockless Bike-Sharing System on Staten island

Without the benefit of the New York City subway, Staten Island is the hardest borough to get around in through public transportation. However, a new bike share company, Lime, is looking to help fix that through its dockless bike program. Coming soon to the island, Lime hopes to help solve the "first-and-last mile problems", assisting you in getting to the bus, or ferry services faster.

Bikes can be rented through the Lime mobile app by scanning the QR codes located on the front or back of the bike. A small red switch on the back wheel is used to lock the bike once you've completed your trip. […] Standard bike rentals cost just $1 for a 30-minute ride, while e-bikes will cost $1 to unlock and an additional 15 cents a minute to ride.

Check out the video's accompanying article on the Staten Island Advance to learn more about the program.

Everything is Connected: Art and Conspiracy will be on display from September 18th, 2018 through January 6th, 2019.
