One of New York City's three major international airports is getting a major upgrade. Learn more about the groundbreaking of Newark's new 1-million-square-foot terminal in these short reports from ABC 7 and CBS New York.

Newark Liberty International Airport's smallest and most antiquated terminal is getting a major upgrade. A $2.7 billion project at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey-operated facility will build a new terminal to replace 45-year-old Terminal A.

A ceremonial groundbreaking was held for a the new passenger terminal being constructed at Newark Airport.

In honor of their 10th anniversary here in the United States, local favorite Ippudo will be giving away 1,000 free bowls of ramen on Tuesday, October 16th.

Festivities will last for one day and, upon opening, patrons of the first East Village location will be served free bowls of ramen while supplies last. Obviously this will be a first-come, first-serve, basis so if you're in the area and want that free bowl of ramen, we recommend you get there early to secure your place in line.
