New York City is the birthplace of the modern tattoo scene. The art form was banned for nearly 40 years, from 1961-1997. We learned about the history of tattooing in New York City at Fineline Tattoo, the oldest tattoo shop in NYC. Producer Sydney Kramer gets inked by Sophie C'est La Vie at Saved Tattoo in Brooklyn.
