Animator David Vandervoort recently created this fantastic animated short about a pickpocket who roams the NYC subways, manipulated into a life of crime by his inner demons. When he picks a lighter belonging to an ex, he is motivated by fate and love to battle his demons and be good again.
A pickpocket scours the subway at the command of his inner demons, but when a chance encounter with fate brings a long-lost love back into his life, he must defy the voices in his head and choose a righteous path.
Vandervoort has created a webpage for Pinched that looks like it will house animation stills and preliminary sketches from the short.
