Photographer Captures the Brave Souls That Dare to Sleep on the NYC Subway

Spanish photographer and director Diana Kunst has an interesting project titled Dreamers in which she captures those commuters who dare to sleep on the New York City subway.

NYC subway never closes. That’s why some homeless take refuge here, underground. Some of the above do as well, but they are not. A shared space with six millions strangers, everyday. And there, in the thin invisible film that covers your body, is your home. Wind down, you sleep, you dream.

Check out the project page for more photos in this series.
