Bruce Davidson's Amazing Photographs of 1980's Subway Commuters

Photographer Bruce Davidson worked as a freelance photographer for major magazines such as LIFE, agencies like Magnum and has had his works appear in several exhibitions at the world's best museums. Some of his best work is portraiture of strangers, and here he captures the commuter perfectly in their element, the dirty, decrepit New York City Subway of the 1980's.
