One Book, One New York is an initiative by the City of New York that is like a giant, City-wide book club. Last year, the selection was Manhattan Beach by author Jennifer Egan. The voting period has ended for this year's pick, and the winner is Just Kids by author Patti Smith!
The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, along with our partners at BuzzFeed, are excited to announce that Just Kids by Patti Smith has been chosen as this year's One Book, One New York winner!
