"Paris — New York", an Animated Comparison of the Two Cities Based on a Humorous Book

In 2012, author Vahram Muratyan wrote a popular book entitled Paris versus New York based on his experience living in both cities.

As big fans of the book, design firm Nord Collective decided to pay homage by creating a great animated video of illustrations using the book as inspiration.

To make this tribute real we couldn’t just use original illustrations directly, so we used Vahram’s ideas as base, completely reworked design and illustrations trying to keep visual similarity to original, animated all scenes and asked our dear friend The Cosmic Setter to write and perform original music and sound design for this project.

Paris versus New York is available on Amazon.
