With the horrific Brooklyn shooting yesterday, you would think the City and it's Police Department would stand shoulder to shoulder condemning the event and putting differences aside to show solidarity and support for the families of the officers who where killed. Instead, during the Mayor's press conference as he walked by, the NYPD union reps literally turn their backs on De Blasio. The Union blames Mayor De Blasio for the officer deaths, stating that by not taking a pro-NYPD line in the Eric Garner issue, he encouraged an anti-NYPD rhetoric in the City, leading to this shooting in Brooklyn yesterday.
