NYC Inspires, a Program Seeking to Make City Landmarks More Affordable and More Accessible

NYC Inspires is a campaign that seeks to inspire more New York City youth through arts and culture by reducing costs of museums, botanical gardens and other cultural landmarks.

In this video from THIRTEEN, hear from New York City council member Jimmy Van Bramer talk about the importance of the program.

NYC Inspires is set on raising forty million dollars in funding with the aim of getting kids out of the classroom and into some of the cultural treasures across all five boroughs. New York City Council Member and Majority Leader Jimmy Van Bramer is a supporter, and he explains the importance of having students experience these cultural institutions.
