"NYC, 1981", a Fantastic Retrospect of New York City's Darkest Days from the People Who Lived Through It

1980's New York City was a dark, disgusting and crime-filled place, full of graffiti, prostitution, crime and grit. This video features a fascinating peek back in time to 1981, where the City was arguably at it's worst, through anecdotes from the residents who lived through it.

The short film was created by New York City based director Austin Peters for A24Films as a companion piece to the full-length feature film A Most Violent Year.
