New York City FC's Superstar Andrea Pirlo Retires From Soccer After Two Seasons

Andrea Pirlo was an Italian olympian, world cup soccer player, and most recently, a member of the New York City FC for the past two seasons. After the team was recently knocked out of the MLS play-offs, the superstar announced he has retired from playing soccer professionally. As a tribute to the international superstar, the team released this great highlight real of his time in New York City.

Andrea Pirlo will be remembered as one of the finest registas in the history of the game and hangs up his cleats following 60 Regular Season appearances for City. Grazie Maestro for everything!
