Our friends at Bedford + Bowery recently ran into this guy from The Bronx who goes by Rat in Times Square. He makes a living showing off and performing with his four pet rats around the City.
[...] near Times Square, [we] encountered Tom Sierra and his four pet rats, Freddy, Gizmo, George and Gilbert. The Bronx resident told us he’s been entertaining/terrifying tourists with them for over a decade. “I make a living,” he said.
The video captured last night doesn't include any of his tricks, but B+B was able to dig up this older one from 2011 that shows Rat throwing his pets up in the air and swinging them from his mouth.
