Learn to Love Pit Bulls at Animal Care Control Center's "Pit Bowl"

In August, join Animal Care Control Center in their fundraising event to raise awareness and encourage adoption of the City’s less fortunate pets. The third annual Pit Bowl is set to educate New Yorker’s about America’s most controversial dog and put those much abided myths to rest.

"When people say pit bull, everyone conjures up some kind of image, and most of the time it’s not a good image, and that’s so false"
- ACC Executive Director Risa Weinstock

The Pit Bowl will be held in Manhattan at Lucky Strike on August 11, 2015, 7pm-10pm. The event presents a great opportunity to learn about these dogs while bowling, enjoying music and getting up close and personal with some lovable pit bulls.

A mobile adoption unit will also be outside the venue for anyone looking to go home with a new addition to their family. Tickets can be purchased here.
