On Coogan’s Bluff is a new app that helps you through a self-guided tour of High Bridge and Northern Manhattan while teaching you all about some of the hidden-in-plain-sight history of the area.
This walking app enables you to have an historical adventure while staying in New York City. Just come on up and explore this veritably untouched, yet feature rich historic zone near the popular High Bridge. Coogan’s Bluff, the eastern escarpment of Washington Heights, is where there is a trove of stone artifacts left over from the construction of the Croton Aqueduct one hundred and sixty six years ago. This app explains and shows you how to explore a remote section of Manhattan on your own.
On Coogan’s Bluff is available for download on iTunes.
