Inside the New York Transit Museum's New Gabrielle Shubert Research Center

The New York Transit Museum is full of vintage NYC transit history porn, but it is also home to some of the best transit research data out there.

The New York Transit Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving and making accessible materials relating to the region's land based public transportation systems, past and present. As part of this commitment we are pleased to announce the opening of our newly outfitted, environmentally-controlled Gabrielle Shubert Research Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

You can access the Transit Museum’s world-renowned special collections and archives library through their online finding aid or by scheduling an appointment with a Transit Museum archivist.
