Here's How the New Central Park Tower Supertall Skyscraper is Designed to Maximize Views of Central Park

When it is completed sometime this year, the new Central Park Tower supertall skyscraper on Billionaire's Row will be the tallest residential building in world at 1,550 feet. In this video from the developers and shared by New York YIMBY, watch as they highlight how the building's design maximizes views of Central Park for all north-facing units.

This is thanks to the multi-level podium and gravity-defying cantilever on the eastern side of the structure. “The cantilever is purposeful,” says AS+GG Partner Gordon Gill. “In order to fit the maximum space into this tight site, the residential program was extended with the protrusion, allowing for improved unit layouts, enhanced views, and more advantageous structural depths.”
