Gaze Upon This New Columbia Building Straight Out of a Jenga Game

Manhattan's newest crazy building, Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center at Columbia University in Morningside Heights, is almost finished. Looking like a hard fought Jenga game, the building has captured the imagination of the public.

Construction is nearly finished on New York’s zaniest new building. Columbia University Medical College’s new Graduate and Education Building in Washington Heights has been the subject of much discussion since renderings by architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro surfaced 4 years ago.

Set to open this August, the building will include an auditorium, event areas, student lounges, cafés and outdoor spaces. Check out the accompanying article for more information about this crazy architectural feat, or see it for yourself in a few months.
