The New York Public Library has just released a new e-reader app called "SimplyE" for iOS and Android devices that allows access to over 120,000 books, magazines, newspapers and other scans from their digital collection.
SimplyE is The New York Public Library's free e-reader app, giving library cardholders the ability to browse, borrow and read over 120,000 e-book titles in just a few easy steps. The app was developed with the Library's overall mission in mind - to ensure that its collections and information in all formats is accessible to all.
The NYPL SimplyE app is available for download on iOS and Android, and allows free digital checkouts with an NYPL library card.
