Date Released For 16th Annual New York City "No Pants Subway Ride"

Video from last year's No Pants SUbway Ride

Now in its 16th year, the No Pants Subway Ride is an annual group event put on by improv group Improv Everywhere in which participants nonchalantly ride the subway sans-pants in the middle of January.

Perhaps their most well-known and biggest event, the No Pants Subway Ride has also launched in dozens of cities around the world, but started here in NYC back in 2001.

The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants.

This year's No Pants Subway Ride will take place on Sunday, January 8th. Check out the event page for more info and details.
