CulturePass is a new program in New York City that allows you to gain free access or admission to New York City museums and attractions as long as you have a local library card. There are currently 25 participating institutions, including the MoMA, the Whitney, and just about every museum on Museum Mile. Here's how it works:

Culture Pass is a program for cardholding patrons 13 and older of Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library and Queens Library. Using their library card, New Yorkers can reserve a pass and get free admission to dozens of NYC cultural institutions, including museums, historical societies, heritage centers, public gardens and more. Click on “Reserve a Pass” and select your library system, then log in with your library card information and browse available passes by date or venue. Have fun exploring your city!
