There are 76 restaurants in New York City which have earned at least one coveted star in the 2020 Michelin Guide. This winter's NYC Restaurant Week has 366 participating restaurants. Here is where those lists intersect.

There are seven restaurants that appear on both lists, with five of them earning 1 Michelin star, and two earning 2-stars… sort of.

Though technically not 2 stars, Nougatine at Jean-Georges does offer much of the same tasting menu as its 2-star Jean-Georges restaurant, and is located adjacent the restaurant.

Perhaps the best way to sample dishes from one of world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s menus without breaking the bank is by dining at Nougatine, an overlooked gem on the Upper West Side. Attached to Jean-Georges in Trump Tower, Nougatine offers a three-course lunch of fresh, dramatically inventive French food six days a week for less than $25.

Evoking the East Village's relaxed character, the intimate space showcases rustic reclaimed materials given a modern update.

Of course, there are many more great restaurants participating in this summer's NYC Restaurant Week and they shouldn't be overlooked, but these nine above have been awarded at least one Michelin star and are offering discounted fares, so definitely check them out by making a reservation sooner rather than later!
