Comedian Jeff Simmermon Explains an Empathetic Screaming Match on the Subway

The Grand Slam is a live storytelling event put on by New York-based The Moth where participants tell a true story to a live audience then are scored and can win prizes, fame and glory.

The stories are usually comedic in nature, as evidenced by this hilarious story told by local comedian Jeff Simmermon about how he got into an empathetic screaming match while riding in the subway.

I was just trying to take the subway home and eat an entire container of Ben and Jerry's ice cream when my groceries spilled all over the train and I got in a screaming match with a really nice lady.
